Vine Republic Shipping Policy
Signature Policy
You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine from Vine Republic.com .All packages sent out by Vine Republic.com REQUIRE a signature upon delivery. It is highly recommended that you provide us with a business shipping address for best service. Customer comments on their order such as "Please leave on back porch" or "Please leave at front door" will be ignored! We will not be able to refund any shipping charges if your package comes back to us because there was no adult to sign for the wine! UPS will make 3 attempts to deliver your package, if no one is available to sign after the 3rd attempt your package will be returned to Vine Republic. You will be refunded for your order less shipping costs, if you choose to reship your order shipping costs will be applied and charged to your credit card.
Damaged Packages
If you receive a notification from UPS.COM concerning your package being damaged during transit, you must refuse your order upon arrival and notify Vine Republic immediately.You assume responsibility once you sign the release form.We cannot credit or refund you without the return of the broken goods.Be sure to have the UPS driver indicate broken bottles as reason for refusal to insure your shipping costs are credited back to you. Summer Shipments
If you place an order during hot conditions there is a high risk of damage to your wine. We suggest that you should leave a note in shipping instructions to have your shipment held until the cooler weather arrives.It is recommended that you use 2 day shipping during warm months. Please note that if you do not specify a later date your order will be sent out that week. Heat damaged wines are non-refundable without the proper precautions stated above.
Store Pick Up
If you have an order that is to be picked up at the store site, please indicate the day and time you will be picking up your order.You may instruct your p/u date and time in the shipping instructions box.Please note, by providing a date of pick up will help us better serve you. Without a date, we cannot guarantee a no wait pick up.
Inventory Availability
Sometimes items sell out or quantity is reduced before the website inventory update takes place. If it is a limited item or a no longer available item we will ship you the balance of what is available. We will call or email you concerning your order if there is a problem.You may confirm the availability of a wine by calling 908 233-1133 or email at vinerepublic@aol.com. We highly advise that you call 908 233-1133 for items showing 6 bottles or less in inventory. It is possible that the item may have sold out in store prior to the web site update.
Shipping Pouch
Please remove the shipping pouch from your shipping box. The pouch contains a copy of your order including any credits or adjustments made to your bill.
Reviewing Your Order
Please review your order carefully before checkout, be sure that credit card billing and shipping addresses are correct and vintage change box has been reviewed. Shipping delays and non-refundable shipping costs could occur from incorrect information. If you have a spam filter for your email address please allow vinerepublic@aol.com therefore we may reach you if there is an issue concerning your order.
Shipping Days are Monday - Friday there are no weekend shipments.
