Buy Matua Sauvignon Blanc online from Vine Republic if you are looking for a refreshingly good option. The winemakers crafted it with fruits that are expressive and, most importantly, delicious!

Matua has cultivated a savvy over the last three decades that is a simple, classic Marlborough: a bright aroma with notes of herbs on the nose and a wide array of scents that this style of wine is famous for providing. When it hits your nose, a bouquet scent of honeysuckle and white flowers lead right into a taste of sage and mint. Delicious fruit flavors straight from the tropics hit the palate, led by a vibrant citrus with a zingy acid, pineapples and peaches to give the taste body. All of these flavors carry through the long finish with a good structure.

The Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is part of Matua’s Lands & Legends line of wines. Each of these selections has a great story and comes full of fruit flavors distinct to one of New Zealand’s nine prime wine regions. Pair this selection with a spring vegetable appetizer, salads with fruit and almonds or pack it in a picnic basket for a getaway date.

Producers of New Zealand’s first Savvy over 40 years ago, Matua Sauvignon Blanc is always rated well by Wine Spectator. It’s now world famous for its unique taste. The two brothers who founded Matua worked on their father’s winery before going on to study the two main areas of the wine business: viticulture and winemaking.

Wine EnthusiastThis wine is initially a bit reductive. It veers towards the green spectrum, showing notes of bell pepper, tomato leaf and grapefruit. There's a biting, slightly underripe quality to the acidity and that is ultimately balanced out by a slightly rounded texture. It finishes on a citrusy tang.
