Based all on Roussanne, the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape Domaine Barville Roussanne has a rich, exotic bouquet of tropical fruits, white flowers, and melon to go with a soft, supple, medium-bodied style on the palate. It gains freshness with time in the glass and has an expansive, layered texture, terrific purity of fruit, and a great finish. Another outstanding 2019 white from this appellation, it can be enjoyed over the coming 3-5 years.

Concentrated lemon and pineapple flavors are bright and sunny in this full-bodied yet delicately textured wine. Hints of nuts and spice lend nuance to the midpalate. Fresh acidity and a pleasant bite of bitter-lemon pith mark a moderately long finish. Drink now–2021.

The 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc les Hauts de Barville is 80% Grenache Blanc, fermented and aged in stainless steel. Straightforward grapefruit and lime notes abound in this medium to full-bodied offering.
