This seductively playful wine exudes deep notes of dark chocolate, spice, tobacco, and mint. Textured and impeccably balanced with silky tannins, it resonates with sophisticated layers of dark red fruits, with just a hint of sweet oak.

Wine AdvocateThe least expensive wine is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Brio Estate, which is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc blend. I suspect, in essence, that this is their second wine, although there was no admission to that. It is a more evolved, faster-aging style of wine with notes of spice box, cedar wood, incense, forest floor, tobacco leaf and blackcurrants. It is Bordeaux-like, but rich, fleshy and medium to full-bodied. This wine can be drunk now or cellared for another 12-15 years.
