Wine SpectatorA crowd-pleasing rosé, this offers finely tuned, mouthwatering acidity paired with fruit-forward flavors of candied cherry and black currant, macerated plum, pastry dough and spiced nut. Displays lovely texture and a lingering finish. Drink now through 2020. 185 cases imported.
Wine AdvocateThe NV (2008) Brut Rose impresses for its depth and round, sensual personality. Layers of fruit caress the palate in this deep, resonant Rose. This is a fairly straightforward wine for Chartogne-Taillet, but it is impossible not to love the pure vinosity and purity of the fruit. The Rose is 60% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir and 15% still Pinot. Disgorgement date: August 2012 Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015.
Wine EnthusiastPretty sunset pink color, with a soft, strawberry Champagne. It is dry, but the dryness is less important than fruitiness, with citrus and caramel flavors.
