The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva from Maipo Andes spent 12 months in used barrels. Garnet-red in the glass. The lovely nose delivers textbook fruity flavors of black currant and sour cherry interspersed with oak from the aging process and a whiff of menthol. Indulgent in the mouth with moderate freshness and fine, juicy tannins followed by a long, pleasant aftertaste, this is a very Maipo wine.
