The NV Brut Réserve, based on the 2012 vintage and disgorged after four years on the lees in July 2017, is very clear, precise and fresh on the nose, with bright fruit and delicate brioche notes. Blending equal parts of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay from 30 different crus and with 25% reserve wines, this is a clear, fresh, tight and finessed Champagne with an intense, powerful but also filigreed finish. This is an impressive, taut and persistent "White Foli" for many opportunities. Tasted June 2018.

One of the great, all-round NV offerings in a classically styled, soft and silky package. Berries, biscuits and smooth, vinous texture in the mouth. Really easygoing with all-round appeal. Drink now.

A well-cut Champagne, with a zesty mousse, this offers a harmonious mix of crème de cassis, Honeycrisp apple, candied ginger and toasty notes, offering a subtle, smoke- and spice-tinged finish. Drink now through 2021. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 110,000 cases made.

Pol Roger's nonvintage cuvée is perfectly in the house style with its great balance and poise between crisp dryness and a softer character. That makes for a very drinkable wine, rich, stylish and ready to drink now.
