The 2021 Insignia captivates the senses with vibrant aromas of black cherry, hibiscus, and wild blackberry, subtly accented by fresh earth and a hint of Tahitian vanilla. On the palate, these dark fruit characteristics are harmonized with warm tones of redwood bark and baking spices. Plush, soft tannins and bright acidity enhance the length, complementing the rich fruit and savory undertones. A compelling tension infuses the wine with focused energy, promising it will express beautifully for years to come.

Deeply brooding, refined aromas of blackcurrants, bitter chocolate, blood plums, dark cherries, cedar and coffee beans. The palate is full-bodied with firmly framed tannins and bright acidity that lead into a structured yet silky-smooth and savory finish. 92% cabernet sauvignon, 4% petit verdot, 2% malbec and 2% cabernet franc. Great to drink young or will reward after time in bottle. Drink or hold.

The 2022 Insignia is packed with succulent red cherry fruit, rose petal, sweet spice and new leather. The 2022 is shaping up to a be a showy Insignia, but it is not overdone.

The 2022 Insignia is a similar blend to the 2021 and checks in as 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, and 2% each of Malbec and Cabernet that's still resting in new barrels. It has a terrific dense purple/plum color as well as a perfumed, lifted nose of red and blue fruits, candied flowers, chocolate, and nicely integrated oak. Medium to full-bodied, it's balanced, shows the plush, riper style of the vintage, has good tannins, and outstanding length.

A plump red, with a frank note of mocha over a generous core of warmed black cherry fruit. Offers a roasted vanilla accent through the finish, where the fruit starts to fade, leaving a lumbering feel. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2027.
