Spicier and denser than the traditional cuvée, the 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Elisabeth Chambellan Vieilles Vignes offers up aromas of dark olive tapenade, dark cherries and flowers. Medium to full-bodied, suave and round, it's layered and textured with a fleshy core of fruit that segues into a long, harmonious and penetrating finish. Macerated for 25 days, this blend of 88% Grenache Noir, 10% Syrah and 2% Mourvèdre matured for 11 months in a combination of foudres, stainless steel and concrete tanks.

The 2022 Chateauneuf-du-Pape Elisabeth Chambellan Vieilles Vignes is a spicy and juicy red that's polished and refreshing. Soft tannins provide a seamless mouthfeel, all balanced by a sufficient amount of vivid acidity. Full-bodied and expressive, the delicious 2022 won't need much time to come around.

A fruity, comforting and balanced red with notes of sweet cherries, ripe berries, grilled meat and sweet spices on the nose. It’s full-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Dense and generous fruit with some spicy character and a firm finish with a peppery lift.
