Named after an early medieval tower in the vineyard, this 37-acre estate has produced a ripe, full-bodied wine. Tannins suspended in the black fruits give structure. With a majority of Merlot, the wine has smooth potential. Drink from 2026.

The 2019 Tour de Termes is a bit closed today, but it clearly possesses terrific depth, not to mention tons of character. Red/purplish berry fruit, mint, blood orange and spice all come together nicely. Tour de Termes offers a combination of richness and vibrancy that is super appealing.

Displaying a deep garnet-purple color, the 2019 Tour des Termes charges out of the gate with bold expressions of cassis, raspberry pie and blueberry compote plus hints of chocolate box, licorice, camphor and rose hip tea. The medium-bodied palate features a racy line of freshness and well-managed, grainy tannins supporting the crunchy black fruit flavors, finishing with a lively lift.

Delivers dark plum and blackberry fruit flavors that are ripe and forward in feel, with singed vanilla and tobacco through the finish. Shows the warmth of the vintage without losing detail. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2030. 15,000 cases made, 50 cases imported.

The 2019 Château Tour Des Termes is a rich, nicely endowed, concentrated 2019 with a big nose of darker currants, spicy oak, graphite, and tobacco. Concentrated, medium-bodied, and focused on the palate, it has the fresh, lively style of the vintage yet needs at least a few years to integrate its oak. Nevertheless, it's the finest wine I've tasted from this estate and should have 15 years or more of overall longevity.
