A cuv e that was first made in 1990, the 2021 Tapestry Reserve is another large production release that brings the goods. More black fruits, chocolate, licorice, and dusty earth notes define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a layered, elegant mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. Bravo to the team at Beaulieu for delivering this level of quality at this production level!

Bramble and woodsy freshness dance with aromatics of resinous herbs, carrying into flavors of ripe black fruits and layers of spices. Hints of cocoa and a touch of vanilla emerge with further sipping, hinting at a mix of warm summer pastries of rhubarb, strawberry and a touch of marzipan. Powdery fine and richly layered tannins carry into a long finish.

The 2021 Red Wine Tapestry Reserve is a tasty Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend. Succulent dark red plum, mocha, licorice, spice and new leather are front and center. Soft, silky contours wrap it all together, adding to a sense of immediacy that is impossible to miss.
