Delicate red berry aromas with mineral notes, along with floral hints and a subtle spice. Rock Angel is rich and racy on the palate. The use of partial oak aging adds a creamy feel and texture to this wine, and the flinty minerality embues it with another layer of complexity. Powerful and elegant. Firm acidity with a long and silky finish.

A very pure and incisive nose, with refined mineral chalkiness to the fresh strawberry and grapefruit aromas. Again, pure is the word to describe the linear, dry palate, which delivers crisp yet textured acidity, together with elegant, freshly chopped raspberries and strawberries. A truly outstanding rosé here!

The latest release of this wine in the range from Esclans is a ripe, full rosé. It has the crispness but the red fruits are warm and rounded. That gives a fine rosé that is definitely made for food and will be ready from 2023.

This shows some nice density for the style, with melon and tangerine flavors woven with notes of crushed rock, white flowers, heather and salty mineral. Creamy-textured, with a hint of smoke on medium-length finish. Grenache, Rolle and Cinsault. Drink now. 16,000 cases made, 8,000 cases imported.
