The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Sauvignon checks in as 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Merlot, all brought up in mostly French oak (38% new). Its ruby/purple hue is followed by a classic Cabernet nose of ripe darker currants fruits, tobacco, cedary herbs, and earth. Reminding me of a great Saint-Julien with its pure, elegant character, it's medium to full-bodied and has wonderful tannins, notable balance, and a great finish. It's a stunning Cabernet from this team that should have 15-20 years of prime drinking.

Broad-shouldered yet refined and polished, with expressive blackberry, savory bay leaf and stony mineral accents that build toward medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2030. 4,000 cases made.
