Brilliant color of a beautiful intense ruby. On the nose, a real basket of crunchy red fruits with strawberries and red currants. Beautiful freshness and balance of the whole with very great purity of the fruit, a lovely roundness without exuberance and silky tannins showing a sapid side that we like to find in this very accessible vintage.

91-93. Barrel Sample. Always a reliable wine, this is a fine summation of the vintage. Poised between fresh black currant fruits and some serious tannins, it has plenty of potential. The wine's crisp edge will keep it bright and vibrant as it develops over the medium-term.

A fine, linear red with currants, blackberries and some chocolate and hazelnuts. Medium to full body. Medium round tannins. Pretty finish.

A subtle, intriguing and approachable Cru Bourgeois, starting to show some development on the nose with briary, sous-bois characters emerging. Less black fruit in style, with red-cherry and damsons on the palate combined with brisk acidity, balancing the generous, fleshy fruit weight. The highly-distinctive château of Larose-Trintaudon dominates this substantial vineyard of alomost 200ha. There is a real focus on sustainability and the environment here. Part of the Vignobles de Larose (along with Château Arnauld).
