Silverado Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Blended with 4% Sémillon, the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc Miller Ranch comes from a 92-acre estate vineyard purchased in 1976. Grapefruit, passion fruit and pineapple notes dominate the nose, but there is a tiny proportion of barrel fermentation (6%, in five-year-old oak) that lends a touch of generosity to the medium to full-bodied palate before giving way to a focused, lime-like finish.

Pear, Fuji apple and lemon zest notes are elegant and sleek on a light frame, with hints of white pepper and orange blossoms that linger on the finish. Drink now. 15,000 cases made.
