Sourced from the young vines of several great Riesling vineyards in the Kamptal (mostly Gaisberg & Heiligenstein) where the soils are a combination of amphibolite Volcanic sandstone, mica slate, and alpine gravel Fermented and raised in stainless steel. Consistently one of the absolute best Riesling values year in and year out.

The 2024 Schlosskellerei Gobelsburg Kamptal Riesling is coolish, precise and spicy on the terroir-driven nose. Unmistakably Kamptal Riesling, it has bright and juicy fruit, delicate spice and irresistible charm. On the palate, it is initially youthful and racy, then turns elegantly juicy, savory and delicately bitter, and it has textured length with fine, almost peppery tannins. This is an authentic, saline and classy Riesling for little money. 12.5% stated alcohol.
