Mid-palate builds in weight and flavours of grapefruit and honeydew melon join. Pineapple evident on the finish. Soft and layered with a lingering spicy finish. The 2023 Sauvignon Blanc Black Label is a well-judged style with attractive fruit. It is nicely textured, almost chewy, with some decent substance through its bright, firm care. It has attractive flavors of gooseberry, elderflower and passion fruit that combine well. Five months on lees rounds out its edges and also lends some flesh to the light-bodied palate.
