A robust medley of rich maple syrup, dark butterscotch, brittle caramel, bittersweet chocolate, burnt marshmallow and sweet hickory smoke notes dominate the nose. Rich dried cherry and cranberry fruit swim in a blackberry jam brightened with hints of ripe apple. Chai tea and warming clove notes develop to spice up the palate. Warm and drying with a lingering clove character.

A Woodford bourbon aged for 2 years beyond the normal 6-7, the final 2 in heavily toasted, lightly charred barrels to create a dark, spicy, "deep cut" profile. Fresh and aromatic, with cinnamon spice, sweet oak, and sweet corn on the nose. Bold flavors on the palate though lightly structured, with sweet coffee, caramel, and pepper spice. Dark flavors on the finish of espresso, chocolate, caramel, burnt marshmallow, and oak.
