A mix of various aged barriques gives soft and elegant tannins without an invasive woodiness. This wine is "L'Amore," the love that Tasca d'Almerita puts into its work.

The nose opens earthy and umami, with damp soil, pepper and herbs, then unveils the floral delicacy of mandarin blossoms and wild cherries. Raspberries and more cherries lead off the palate, followed by snappier notes of bergamot and wild fennel and finally a salty chalkiness. Simultaneously taut with tannins and alive with acid.
