Buy Joel Gott 815 Cabernet Sauvignon online from Vine Republic and prepare for a vintage created during a growing season for the record books. This cab hits the nose with an engaging, layered aroma of blackberry, blue fruits, cherries, dark plum and mocha with hints of cedar, a variety of spices and vanilla. Sweet on the palate, the tannins are polished and well-structured with a velvety texture. The finish is elegant, long and well-balanced.

The growing season in California creates vintages that are for the record books! The season was long and filled with sunshine. Because of these excellent conditions, the growing season produced intense flavors throughout the region, along with acres of tannins that were immediately cellar-worthy.

For Joel Gott 815 Cabernet Sauvignon, the Napa fruits come from Howell Mountain, a highly regarded vineyard, along with the South Napa vineyards that bear fruits with complexity and great depth. The Lake County fruits this wine features actually originate in the Red Hills Appellation, which have great texture and mineral composition thanks to the fact they grow in obsidian volcanic soil.

The fruits selected from the Central Coast came of age in Paso Robles and the Hames Valley in Monterey County, and you can taste them in the mature, developed flavors that round out the elegant balance of this wine. After the growing season, every fruit that Joel Gott Wines harvests from each vineyard is sorted by hand, and then is de-stemmed before fermentation begins.
