Opening with a ripe and juicy nose, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Canoe Ridge Estate Vineyard is a blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon with 9% Merlot. It offers juicy black cherry, dark plum and blackberry jus along with oak essences of baking spices, vanilla and crème brûlée and hints of fried sage in the glass. Medium to full-bodied, the Cabernet is framed with succulent tannins and gobs of red and black fruit flavors, ending with a delightful finish that lingers with blackberry essence and tones of bitter dark chocolate. Rested in all French oak, 70% first use, this Cabernet offers a remarkable experience for the price.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Canoe Ridge Estate is also outstanding, offering some complex forest and conifer tree notes as well as plenty of chocolatey red and black fruits, medium to full body, ripe tannins, and terrific mid-palate depth. It's a great value and will keep for at least 7-8 years.
