Elisabeth Chambellan Châteauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes 2020
|Region||France, Rhone, Chateauneuf-du-Pape|
The 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape Vieilles Vignes Elisabeth Chambellan is a smaller production cuvée based on 88% Grenache, 10% Syrah, and the rest Mourvèdre, coming from the La Crau and Font du Pape lieux-dits. Spring flowers, peppery herbs, candied orange, and assorted red and blue fruits emerge from this medium to full-bodied, spicy, complex, elegant red that displays wonderful Grenache typicity. It should come together nicely once bottled and have 15 years of prime drinking.
