Intrinsic Red Blend 2020

The 2020 Red Blend is a bit muted in the glass showing an understated mix of dried flowers, black cherries and hints of menthol. It's soft textured yet lacks energy and drive, displaying ripe red fruits and sweet baking spice. This finishes a bit cloying, leaving a staining of concentration through the chewy finale.

This Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec blend could tempt bears with its sweet aromas of blackberry jam and red-clover flowers. The accompanying notes of freshly pulled espresso shots and a cedar-lined sock drawer are equally compelling. The full-bodied wine coats the palate with concentrated flavors of blueberry compote, chocolate cake and raspberry gelato. The wine's tannins are plush, with acidity levels low enough to promote hibernation.
