Domaine Le Galantin Bandol Rosé 2020

Vivid salmon skin. Spice-accented strawberry, nectarine and blood orange aromas, along with a floral nuance that builds with air. Silky in texture and focused on the palate, offering subtly sweet red berry, citrus fruit and lavender flavors braced by an undercurrent of bright minerality. Finishes very long and supple, with repeating blood orange and floral notes.

It's no surprise that this rich rosé from Bandol is 50% Mourvèdre. That grape gives the wine density, an opulent, spice and perfume character and aging potential. The wine will be at its best from late 2021.
