This wine shows off the gorgeous fruit qualities (currant, red cherries) that pair up seamlessly with the notes of leafy herbs, cassis, graphite, and floral tones. There is a plushness and concentration that exemplifies the great texture and endless finish of this always elegant wine.

One of the consistently great wines made in Washington, the 2017 Red Wine Two Blondes combines 52% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Malbec. Salty and savory tones greet you aromatically, alongside tar, espresso bean, red currants and sandalwood accents. Full-bodied, seamless and very elegant, with bright acidity and a smooth texture, this outstanding bottling is already starting to sing in its high octave right now and will surely drink well for another 15 years to come.

This site in the Yakima Valley produces some great wines, and the 2017 Two Blondes Vineyard from Andrew Will certainly delivers the goods. Lots of cassis and redcurrant fruit as well as notes of spice box, flowery incense, and chocolate all emerge from the glass, and it's medium-bodied, elegant, and seamless on the palate. Drink this aromatic, layered, complex 2017 over the coming 15 years or more.

With a compact nose of dark red, dusty fruits that sachet out of the glass with elegance and finesse, the 2017 Two Blondes Vineyard is seamless and full of complexity. Medium-bodied, the wine achieves a depth of flavor without being overly generous. The mouthfeel is impeccably balanced with energetic acidity and lifting tannins to compound the complexity and longevity. Flavors of dark plum and dark cherry linger on the long, drawn-out finish along with soft red flowers, hints of graphite and dried herbs. It’s nimble on the palate and will be amazing with food.
