The 2019 Landform Pinot Noir is a charming and nuanced expression of the variety. Aromatically, the wine is complex, with Bing cherry, loganberry, and spicy cola notes. In the mouth, there is superb freshness and vitality, with full-throttle red berry flavors, good texture and a generous finish.
Great winemaking genes were definitely inherited by Josh Phelps from his grandfather Joseph Phelps of Napa Valley fame! He does such a great job on this well-balanced Pinot Noir made from organic Oregon vineyards. This Pinot has a great nose, great acidity (making it a very food-friendly wine), and great fruit and earth flavors. Low alcohol content - just 13.2% - and low cost are both icing on the cake!

This is a nicely pitched style with red cherries in abundance, as well as toasty baking spices The palate delivers a very vibrant, succulent impression with plenty of spicy red-cherry flesh.
