Production of sparkling wine began in 1887 and Llopart was consolidated into a fine winemaking house in the mid-20th century by Pere Llopart i Vilaros. This makes Llopart the longest continuously run family owned sparkling wine house in Spain. The family owns a 500Ha. mountain estate, of which 20% is planted to vineyards. In 2017, Llopart left the DO Cava to establish CORPINNAT as one of the six original founding growers with the goal of premiumizing the image of fine Spanish sparkling wines internationally.

Limpid straw-yellow. An incisive bouquet evokes fresh citrus and orchard fruits, melon and succulent flowers, and a chalky mineral nuance builds in the glass. Vibrant tangerine, Anjou pear and honeysuckle flavors are braced by a spine of juicy acidity. Delivers a solid punch but comes off lively, finishing long and floral, with firm, citrusy cut. Aged for 18 months on its lees.

Apple, clover and grassy aromas are supported by a nice underlay of yeast. On the palate, this is a touch soft and flat, with low acidity. Apple, nectarine and melon flavors finish clean and mellow. Drink now.
